Hyundai Motor Co. plans to introduce 13 new or updated alternate-fuel models in the U.S. by 2022.

Ten of vehicles will be added over the next three years, starting with a hybrid version of the redesigned, coupelike Sonata four-door due in 2020. Two more sedans and seven SUV/crossover vehicles will follow.

Later this month, Hyundai will use the Los Angeles auto show to present an updated version of its Ioniq sedan (pictured). That model already is available with a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or all-electric powertrain.
