PSA Plans Chevy Fleet for Car-Sharing in Washington, D.C.

PSA Group is launching its Free2Move car-sharing service in Washington, D.C., later this month with a leased fleet of 600 Chevrolet Cruze small sedans and Equinox crossover vehicles, Automotive News reports.

The Chevys will provide short-term rentals through PSA’s Free2Move app, which also will give users one-stop access to other ride-hailing, bike sharing and public transit options.

PSA introduced Free2Move last year in Portland, Ore., and Seattle, Wash. The service also operates in 17 European cities. The carmaker aims to begin importing and selling cars in the U.S. in 2026.
